Games, Toys, Crafts, Stories and Fun!
At Pinner Playtime we try to create a warm and friendly atmosphere where parents, childminders and children alike can enjoy the experience of play, learning and sharing time together! We welcome everyone who wants to join in the unique and special community of people that make up Pinner Playtime. Sessions include free play, craft activities, story and song time and juice and biscuits for the children as well as refreshments for the adults.
Our Staff
All our Staff Volunteers have many years experience working with toddlers, children and young people in the public, voluntary and community sectors. There are available every Pinner Playtime session to help with the smooth running of activities and supporting parents, childminders, family members and the children themselves!
Staff Ethos
Staff Volunteers will assist with craft and play activities where necessary but Pinner Playtime’s ethos is about giving its members the opportunity to explore play and learn with their children. Children cannot be left unsupervised by their responsible carer, however, Pinner Playtime is a safe and healthy environment allowing children the freedom to play together alongside Staff who are DBS checked and regularly attending child protection refresher training.
History
Pinner Playtime evolved from a longstanding Parent and Toddler Group that had run at Pinner Methodist Church for many years, available to all children from birth to school age.
Volunteers
In 2006 a new group of volunteers took over the management of Pinner Playtime. Since then, we have grown from a small group of 12 children to an organisation of 175 children that meet 5 times a week.
Funds
Pinner Playtime is a not-for-profit community organisation where all funds are used to further develop the facilities available to the group.
