Our Staff & Ethos

All our Staff Volunteers have many years of experience working with toddlers, children, and young people in the public, voluntary, and community sectors. They are available at every Pinner Playtime session held at Pinner Methodist Church to help with the smooth running of activities and support parents, childminders, family members, and the children themselves!

Staff Volunteers will assist with craft and play and learning activities where necessary, but Pinner Playtime’s ethos focuses on giving its members the opportunity to explore play and learn with their children. Children cannot be left unsupervised by their responsible carer; however, Pinner Playtime provides a safe and healthy environment, allowing children the freedom to play together alongside Staff who are DBS checked and regularly attend child protection refresher training.

History

Volunteers

Volunteers

Pinner Playtime originated from a longstanding parent and toddler group that had been hosted at Pinner Methodist Church for many years, offering play and learning activities for all children from birth to school age.

Volunteers

In 2006, a new group of volunteers took over the management of the parent and toddler group at Pinner Methodist Church. Since then, we have grown from a small gathering of 12 children to an organization of 175 children who participate in play and learning activities five times a week.

Pinner Playtime is a not-for-profit community organisation hosted at Pinner Methodist Church, where all funds are dedicated to enhancing the facilities for our parent and toddler group and supporting various play and learning activities.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join us!
